Final Cut Pro Tutorial

Firstly you click on the ‘Final Cut Pro’ icon.
(If there is already a project opened on the computer…)
You will have to go to ‘File’ and ‘New Project’
To save your work you have to go to ‘Final Cut Pro’ and then click onto ‘System Settings.’ (This will enable you to save and allocate your work in a specific but easy way.
After you have clicked on ‘System Settings’ this box will appear..

And then you click on ‘Set’

You then choose ‘HD2’ and your folder name, where your work will be saved.

You then change each file to where u want your work to be saved to then you click ‘ok’.

            After All work is completed you save it by going to ‘File’ then ‘Save Project As’.

You then choose the same folder to where you set up your project ‘HD2’ then find your name and then click on ‘Save’.

When are not using Final Cut Pro but you don’t want to close your project you go to ‘Final Cut Pro’ and then go to ‘Hide Final Cut Pro’.

When you are importing files you put all your work into your ‘HD2’ folder under your name so that work is not lost when you open your projuct.
